Known as the boys with "MOVIE STAR LOOKS WITH ROCKSTAR HOOKS," SOUTHBLOCK is a High School/College connected Hip Hop group, from Memphis, TN made up of two members, DE'JON GOT IT and TRU Q. SOUTHBLOCK has already shared the same stage with artists such as Soulja Boy, Yo Gotti, Chris J and Boyz II Men. More than just another Hip Hop group with an upcoming, debut record, SOUTHBLOCK and their music emerges as a vision that captures a true blend of originality, artistically driven lyricism and compositions that embodies a fresh, young trendy sound.

SOUTHBLOCK's goal is not to just become what many would call "the next big thing", they aspire to consistently create music that will leave a lasting impression on the music industry for years to come. "If we were asked right now if we'd rather sell five to ten million records from one CD release or if we'd rather sell one to two million records of five to ten CDs that we release, we would definitely choose the latter! Why, because to us that would represent longevity in the music industry and prove our ability of consistently creating great music! We're not here to be "one hit wonders" we'd rather make people wonder how we're releasing one hit after another! That's why we work so hard in the studio and on the road.
