Southern Block Souljaz was formed by Sin and JP in 2003. After a couple of years of composing beats and writing songs, Sin and JP joined another Rap crew. It was through this Rap crew that they were introduced to Drin and Yung Rex. After sometime and things not going in a positive direction with the other crew, Sin and JP decided it was time to go own their own. They decided to ask Drin and Yung Rex to be part of their crew.
In 2005, Sin, JP, Drin and Yung Rex became Southern Block Souljaz.
Even though Southern Block Souljaz has been influenced by many Rap artists, their music is undeniably different from all others. Each member brings their own style to the mic, and after their tracks are put together, they become ONE.
With two brothers and two TRUE friends, the members of Southern Block Souljaz have a differnt but unique, captivating chemistry as you can hear on all their tracks. Southern Block Souljaz take pride in their music and will only settle for the best in their music.
After gathering a loyal fan base in their home town of Pasadena Texas and the surrounding Houston areas, Southern Block Souljaz is now directing their energy towards getting their music heard all over the U.S. and the rest of the world.
