Getting 100 percent on an exam means you’re a freakin’ ace. Finding $100 on the street means you’re stoked. And putting 100 percent into your art means you’ve probably got the same dedication and tenacity as the Rancho Cucamonga-based hip-hop trio, 100.
These dudes—SouthPaw, Waterpipe and Krumah K.A.P.O.W.—aren’t messing around. They’ve taken everything under their own roof, including launching a label (Own 1 Entertainment), all to ensure their eventual success.
Originally hailing from various locales (the Bay Area, St. Louis and LA), the trio have melded into a hip-hop form that’s original, professional, and best of all, enjoyable. Plus, they’ve dubbed their forthcoming release—St. LA Bay—to signpost this fusion of regions. Still, 100 isn’t forgetting about the importance of the IE.
“We have a two-part goal,” says SouthPaw, “One, to bring the IE to the rest of the world. Two, to bring the entire world to the place we call ‘St. L.A. Bay.’”
However, 100 (pronounced “One Hunned”) realize there’s more to be done in their current turf. “There simply is not a collective music culture—that’s what we want to bring to the IE,” says SouthPaw. “How can this be the biggest county in the United States, located less than 45 minutes from the biggest entertainment mecca of the world, and have so few opportunities for artists to showcase their talent? We want in, bottom line. And we’re working hard to ensure other artists from the IE who face the same struggles have more opportunities to be heard as well—especially in our genre of music.”
“There’s no one who’s going to outwork us, and we are too determined to let this opportunity we’ve been given slip through our hands,” he adds. “With that being said, if it’s meant to be, it will be.”
Now, that’s 100 percent committed.

Bio
SouthPaw, born and raised in the U. City section St. Louis, Mo., is flat out "The Best Rapper youve never heard". He grew to become a Man in his Southern California town of Rancho Cucamonga, but his hometown roots are as evident in the emotion of his Muzik, as it is in his dialect.
A Student of the Music Business for years, his Muzik is best described as "Thought Provoking Soul over Tempos". His name is derived from his unconventional taste of music, in addition to his realization that everyone is born Right-Handed, but the gifted overcome it. SouthPaw is an advocate of all Music thats Heartfelt, and a fan of everyone from Nas to No Doubt. Often referred to as SouthPaw Pikasso for the way his songs paint pictures, he is definitely one of the most innovative individuals to ever bless a Microphone.
Garnering success as a founding member and one-third of the Hip-Hop trio 100(One-Hunned), SouthPaw is now set to release the lead single "Six Words" off his debut album "Tale of 2 Cities". SouthPaw is clear in his vision and determined that other than GOD, he will control his Own fate in the Music Business. More than just an artist, SouthPaw is also the C.E.O. of Own1 Entertainment, develops other Artists, and helps direct the careers of several Independent Music Producers and Film Directors.
