Bio
Sovereign Council is a power metal band based out of Kingston, Ontario, Canada. With influences coming from every genre of music imaginable, our sound is something we're quite proud of. Singer Alexander MacWilliam and guitarist Chris Thompson have been working together for several years on various other musical projects before the formation of Sovereign Council in early 2011. The vast majority of our time since then has been spent writing, recording, and rehearsing to bring our very best to each song and to the album as a whole.
