There are many cosmic things here on earth to explore.

The Space Babies first (self titled) album is a fun, light-hearted romp through reality. Rebecca and Michael sing about the wonder of having landed once again on planet earth.
The song styles range from folk, rock, Bossa Nova, African, ragtime, love ballads and even what sounds like a cosmic reggae-jewish wedding party. The music playfully excites laughter while giving tribute to mother earth.

Thoughtful cosmic lyrics, congas, world music…all earth influences are hinted at. Lots of sonic ear candy: ethereal fairy wings flapping, moon moans, butterfly giggles, Indian chanting, even alien harps.

Michael and Rebecca Vest, a married couple based in Venice California, formed the Space Babies in 2009 and began to record some of the many songs they’d written together over the last ten years. Now the album, website, and band are ready and the Space Babies are prepared to land on beautiful planet earth and see what they can manifest.
Michael Vest has been fiddling with music since his college band Xing.
Rebecca Trujillo Vest comes from a large musical family and grew up singing and playing guitar. In 2003, she released an album called “Munda” (www.mundamusic.com) which is wonderful Goddess folk rock and showcases her beautiful light-hearted voice.
Michael and Rebecca have sung for kids in kindergarten, led chants at spiritual events and played festivals. They also performed at such venues as the (sadly missed) Temple bar and the Derby in Los Angeles.
