Space Cake Break assembled in Kathmandu simply because of sincerity towards sound, vision, art, lifestyle, imagination and a mixture of 4 heads inclined towards music. For us, Space Cake Break became a common ground to explore who we are, what we want and what really makes us feel good. We discovered there's nothing that compares to music.
We are driven by our love and passion for music, with no sense of destination and direction. This leads us to admire bands like Foo Fighters, Incubus, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, NIN, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Weather Report, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Afro Dizzy Act, Spirogyra, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai etc.
Each musician in the band has been involved in rock, alternative, blues, jazz, hip hop bands from our own local scene. We were still missing something and this is when we, Space Cake Break, started baking our music and listening to our heart.
