Bio
Spaceman Jackson is a four-piece from the North Shore suburbs of Chicago. We play mostly fast and energetic thrash metal in the vain of Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, and Slayer. However, we add our own style to it by incorporating the sounds of Doom/Sludge metal such as Electric Wizard and Black Sabbath as well as early punk and hardcore like Sex Pistols, Dead Boys, etc. These bands are our main influences too. We write a lot of original material and play it live for shows with a few cover songs. We are planning to record a new demo, since our old one was really shitty, this spring- summer. We are between the ages of 17 and 15. Nick and Eric are the oldest. They are juniors at Lake Forest High School. Nick is 16 and Eric is 17. Max and Ivo are freshman but can still wail. Each are 15 years old. We are hoping to get good gigs in the Chicago area, all ages of course, to expand our music and gather a strong following. What sets us apart from other bands is that no one plays our style of music, however can adapt and love it quickly. We make metal fun again.
