Bio

One of Aaron's main goals as a songwriter has been to write hooks and melodies that are instantly recognizable while juxtaposing them against different chords than one might expect. This technique, inspired from his songwriting heroes including John Lennon and Elliott Smith, has been used to imprint his unique personality onto all of his hook-driven compositions.

Lyrics have always come naturally to Aaron, a result of being the son of two published authors. He inherited a great ear for production from his father who, before starting a writing career, produced the number one single "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)," and was publicist to rock legends like The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, and Steppenwolf.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2002, Aaron toured the world playing for audiences from Santa Monica to Saint Sebastian. Settling in to the local Indie community of Silverlake in 2004, Aaron has gone on to play some of LA's premiere rock venues including The Knitting Factory, Hotel Cafe and BB King's while performing regular residencies at the Universal Bar and Grill and the Kokomo Cafe.

In the meantime. his music has been featured on Boston's WERS in a segment called "The Best Of The Open Mics" and was described as "Cool as all hell" by Don Klaus of Rockzone. Last year, Aaron co-founded the EP-only record label, Rookie Card Records with a group of childhood friends.

Currently, Aaron is seeking wider distribution for his band's recordings and continues to write, perform and record in Los Angeles.
