Bio

Space Runners consist of four members Ju$zGlen, Pacer, J. Dope and T Dot Savage. They were pieced together over time. J. Dope and T Dot Savage started out free styling together in 2006. One year later they met Ju$zGlen who they started rap battling with and over time made Ju$zGlen part of their crew. The next year after that J. Dope’s brother Pacer moved out here from Indiana (Nap town) and J. Dope convinced him to start rapping also. They ran through a couple of names such as The Presidentz, Greysteel Thugs, Greysteel Gangstas and then one day J. Dope said why go the gangster route let’s just be us. So for about a year they didn’t have a set name and one day while J. Dope, Pacer and T Dot Savage were chilling J. Dope said “How about Space Runners for our rap group name?” T Dot Savage and Pacer had no arguments against it let Ju$zGlen know he liked it so they’ve been Space Runners ever since. With the name came a saying that was made up by a friend of theirs named Kevin Maharaj. One day in the studio he was with them and said “It’s not even fly anymore it’s Telescoped Out” at first everybody said it was corny but T Dot Savage took it and ran with it and now it’s a commonly used phrase by the Space Runners. The definition of it is basically anything with a height limit the highest limit you can be is Telescoped Out. For example “I’m high”, “I’m Telescoped Out”, “My swags on high right now”, “My swags Telescoped Out right now”. Space Runners are just four guys trying to make it in life with their talents and stay true to themselves at the same time. We can bring many things to the table such as the fun, creativity and real talk back into hip hop.
