"Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington Rocks Pop's Wednesday"

Spacetrain opened with a raw, natural vibe about them. Singer/guitarist Alex Skyles was the most dynamic of the group (which included solid performances from drummer Zach Moiser and bassist Zack Crouch), and the most fun to photograph, kicking though a hot blend of blues, rock, soul, electronic and alt with a jazz/progressive twist to boot. Skyles was thoroughly impressive with his amazing skills on the axe. Bending each note with such heartfelt passion Skyles was totally engrossed in his instrument of choice.

This kid has some serious chops and whoever is along for the ride better hang on, because with some similarities in line with early Hendrix, Vaughn and Johnson (I don’t give those comparisons out lightly) this kid is in line for great things. Sunday, Spacetrain they will be at Pop's battling for a spot at the next Pointfest. - The Examiner

Still working on that hot first release.

Diving headfirst into electric grooves, rock riffs, and a release of subsonic power, this trio from Nashville, Tennessee sends a universal message to all who are in search of a new style of feel-good rock and roll.

Formed in 2011, Singer/Guitarist Alex Skyles has been creating music and touring with drummer Zach Moiser (drums) for over 10 years, along with a lifetime of sharing music with bassist Zach Crouch. In early 2012, Alex recorded and mixed Spacetrain's first 5 songs which firmly established Spacetrain's musical style and philosophy, focusing on tight grooves, melodic vocals harmonies, and unique songwriting. Originally from St. Louis, Spacetrain is currently selling out shows in their hometown and has built a solid foundation in Nashville, TN where they have resided since 2011.
