Sparda MC is back in the house with his new single ´Take My Hand. ´ Coming from his forthcoming album ‘2010 Reelness’ set to be released next year. With some smooth vocals and a little help from his friend Damyan on vocals, Sparda is definitely in the hot seat for club anthem of the year. The song is about a guy who has stepped into a club and looks at a girl, fantasying about her in every way possible, with its catchy hooks and memorizing lyrics this could be number one before Christmas. ´Take My Hand ´ is produced by one of London’s hottest producers Pilot Palmer and is set to be the biggest song of the year. As his name states, Sparda MC is a rising MC hailing from Tottenham, North London. Inspired by the release of ‘Oi’ by London collective More Fire Crew, Sparda began his career at the tender age of 13. Soon after discovering his talent he joined Cold Society, a group of youths who all shared a passion for music, although his affiliation with the group was short lived.
Since stepping on to the scene, Sparda has had the opportunity to perform/work with many well respected artists from the UK as well as the USA. Wu Tang Clan 36 Chambers tour & Juels santana 2009 sheperds bush empire 2009, Supporting act for Example at Dingwalls 2010, performed at the hackney empire for the Robert levy foundation
Keen to be more than just a rapper, Sparda is also a University graduate, achieving a second class degree in Television Production from the Middlesex university. Since leaving, Sparda has continued to apply what he’s learnt from University to his music and takes pride in editing and directing the majority of his own videos.
Sparda is currently in the studio working on his forthcoming debut album ‘20:10 Reelness,’ which he plans to release via Itunes amazon and hmv on July 29th 2012. The album will see Sparda get very personal, touching on the things that he’s gone through and telling his private life stories. As well as acting as an open diary, the album will see Sparda discuss various real life issues that people face, many of which his listeners will be able to relate to.
Besides rapping, Sparda also runs a small advertising company called A Star Ads which offers services to an array of professional clients. He is also a multi genre DJ and has played at many London events such as Stragith Boogie Down and Coach Party
Sparda can currently be heard on ‘Straight Jizz’, the fourth instalment of the Lyrical Exercise Saga which is available for download now on http://spardamc.bandcamp.com/releases . He is also featured on Soca Singer Destra Garcia’s new track, London Keep Dancing’.
Still early on in his career, Sparda aspires to take his music to new heights with hopes of bringing inspiration and motivation to all that hear him.
‘I want to change my lifestyle and improve the lives of others through my music. I don’t care for the fame; I just want people to listen to my message and what I’ve got to say.’
