Sparse is a trio that was formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2010. Musical influences range from acoustic latino blues to minimalistic type electronica in the realms of 90's trip-hop. As the name of the group suggests, the sound image is often sparsely instrumented, yet with a slightly gritty sound with lush analogue synth sounds backing up the nylon stringed guitar played by Henrik. Alexandra, with roots in Uruguay, does all the vocals. Robert, an experienced producer and keyboard player does all the programming and sound engineering. The band released the EP "Gemini" in November 2013. Available on Spotify!
