Spectres

BandAlternative

Wall of noise shoegaze-pop that will shake your eyes out of their sockets.

Biography

We are a Bristol based 4 piece who make noise that will rattle your teeth and entrance you all in one. Winners of the Artrocker magazine unsigned band competition in Sept 2012, we have spent the year playing festivals and gigs in unusual places, (i.e a crypt underneath a church...)
Influenced by bands like A place to bury strangers / Sonic youth etc, we create a live environment which has to be seen and heard to be believed.

"Spectres are the sound of today's teens excavating my bloody valentine's 'isn't anything' and learning their instruments from it: swoonsome mid-paced epics with liberal amounts of fuzz"
Rough Trade Records

"Sonic Youth Noise freeakouts, white noise guitars. The new face of the Uk Scene"
Artrocker Magazine

"Sprawling shoe-gaze jams which thrash around in the tense space created by loud/quiet dynamics and a counterpoint between melody and distortion.
Guitars thrashed so hard that blood bounces off the pick-ups and all over the stage. Pedals set to stun"
Tropical Waste
