S.P.E.C. Bio:
Houston, Texas is home to many different genre's and styles of music. From Hip-Hop with legendary artists such as Paul Wall, UGK, Slim Thug and young artists such Kirko Bangs and DJ XO just to name a few. Even R&B with Beyouncé as its leader. However, there is one artist who is on the rise from the depths of all of those greatest, taking all of his life experiences and placing them into his music. That artist goes by the alias S.P.E.C or S.P.E.C.trum. He has no preference on either name you call him he states "just call me which ever name you like best, lol". 

S.P.E.C. hails from the northside of Houston in a neighborhood called "SCENIC WOODS", "I actually grew up several blocks away from Slim Thug and his family". As a child S.P.E.C. loved to write compositions and stories expressing his imagination on paper and was a top tier student in all of his English classes. In 2003, that passion for writing stories would turn into writing actual song lyrics. "I used to write to only 3 albums which were, Nas' 'God Son', Jay-Z's 'Black Album', and Little Brother's 'The Minstrel Show' LP's. No instrumentals just wrote my own verses, hooks, bridges, etc over their beats and listen to their cadences to learn how to master the art of making a complete song". 

After 5 years of writing development, in 2008, S.P.E.C. Graduated from Lamar High School and decided to pursue being an audio engineer at Full Sail University in Florida. Although he wanted to achieve this S.P.E.C. just didn't have the funds so instead he opted for a "less expensive" school and attended Houston Community College's audio engineering program. There he meet several engineers and producers, whom he still works with today, and started learning the arts of recording and mastered his own recordings. Fast forward 8 years later to 2016, with a lot of knowledge and mistakes he's learned from, S.P.E.C. Is finally ready to ascend in the music industry.

S.P.E.C. Released an EP entitled "colOURS" in 2014 and is currently preparing his debut album "A Board Horizon", which is two years in the making and scheduled to be released in the spring of 2017. "It will be 10 records that myself and my producer(s) will create from scratch and be themed based with a few singles for radio. The entire LP will be shot as one cinema filmed like visual, he says" S.P.E.C. Also has a sexy banging single entitled "Body Language" Ft. Brian Angel (DAY 26) that is gaining buzz and slowly making its way to the charts. Even though S.P.E.C. has his plate full for 2016 and future years ahead, he wants to be able to share his food for thoughts a.k.a. music to the world with the intent of having a career filled with longevity!
