speedofsound

speedofsound formed in early 2009 when Jonathan Braught contacted Jeremiah Golden and David Eccles in an attempt to re-establish a musical bond that had been lost. Jonathan had played guitar and taken vocal duties in LoFi with David and played in various projects with Jeremiah in the past. The three convened and the chemistry was instantly recognizable, speedofsound was born.

Fusing influences from U2, mutemath, Coldplay and the Foo Fighters. Jonathan's catchy lyrics melded perfectly with Jeremiah's pop sensitive musicality and David's straightforward and no nonsense approach to the drums. Sonically, speedofsound achieves a very clean and tasteful tone, reminiscent of 80's rock recordings while still maintaining modern pop sensibilities.

With current releases '13 Days' and 'Sunset Rock' speedofsound stays true to their small town roots and explores themes that talk of relationships and life experience all while staying grounded in their faith.

Currently speedofsound has just completed and will soon be releasing the "13 Days EP". They are now working on their first full length album, due to be released in 2010.
