After The Hasties tore down their set, Emcee Spencer Dobson announced door prize winners and took some time to do his stand-up. Dobson's routine was well received by the audience and laughs were echoing throughout the theater. A particular crowd favorite was a statement he made about the "marketing genius" of Applebees' menu item Chicken Fried Chicken. This appearance generated enough interest to encourage Spencer to move to Los Angeles.
Spencer has returned to the Midwest to be near his family and continue to work at what he does best: Stand-up Comedy. Spencer’s comedy weaves stories around his return to small town America, dating as an adult and trying to care of his aging family members while trying to hold on to some sanity. A prolific writer, Spencer always brings surprises and fresh material to his audiences.
