I've toured and or been produced by the Stones engineer with help from Keith Richards when my drummer was Corky Laing from the band Mountain. I've toured all over Europe, Scandanavia, Jamacia, Mexico, and Japan. Funky soul rock n roll has been used to describe my music.I perform accoustically now as a duo with my son, Sky.

Biography

Began in the clubs of New York playing Bleecker St. Folk clubs in the village like Kenny's Castaways, The Backdoor, The Village Gate, etc. Graduated to the rock clubs of the time...CBGB's, The Rocker Room, The Peppermint Lounge, Max's Kansas City, and the infamous Studio 54, as well as Danceteria...too many to remember..ah yes, and Folk City!
Went to LA and on doing my first benefit concert with Billy Preston received my first record deal offer from Scotti Bros. Records, only 12 hrs after producing my first three song demo! Playing the Troubadour in L.A. was offered and accepted engagements at the Troubadour in Las Vegas.
Upon returning to Manhattan was playing an "industry only" jam on Thursday nights at Once Upon a Stove, mc'd by Rob Stoner of the MC5. I was "discovered" once again and management associated with the Rolling Stones signed me to a 7 year contract. Corky Laing and Felix Papillardi, (bass player of famed band Mountain) became my first producers on a 5 song EP when Felix's wife shot and killed him half way thru production. Keith Richards turned me on to Gary Lyons' engineer on "Some Girls" and "Tatoo You" albums to finish the record, but the grand jury trial was too heavy in public eye, and Clive Davis dropped the deal for Arista.
I left for London to get away from all the disappointments. I toured western Europe playing with pick up bands and played solo in clubs and pubs, working 5 days a week for a year. Upon returning from England, I arrived on the edge of the Apache reservation, where my dad was living, and began my studies of the "medicine way" of the Native American. Finding I had strong native American heritage, I studied there with the elders for 4 years. Then off to Orlando to form Lone Wolf Records,Inc. and record another cassette of a ten song original album. After playing a 5000 seat club and having WDIZ, Orlando's then largest rock station, broadcasting the concert live thru the state of Florida, I left again to Cherokee, N.C. to study with the medicine people and elders to gain more knowledge of the "way", write more songs. I spent 16 years there recording "Ever Since the Night" with a friend of my long time mentor Tom Dowd, founder of Atlantic records.
I returned to Orlando and started CSM Music,Inc., a production co., and produced 5 albums including my own. All 5 artists were marketed on Atlantic Satellite Charts and made the top 8% worldwide within the first month in 5 different genres! I was given an award by Vandor Records and offered a position of "'exclusive producer" for the state of Florida under the stage name Ken Morris.
I now own Beta Wave Records,Inc. and my body of work in 5 genres, all originally written, performed and produced by me, including the promo video for booking included on this site.
