Winner of Florida's Millennium Cultural Recognition Award, "Spirit of the Rain" ensemble was founded by Tom Toyama in 1998. It's mission is to promote greater public awareness of the plight of Earth's ecology thru the Spirit of the Rains ensemble performances. Nature sounds woven into original music with drumming, world cultural influences, and civilization sounds that symbolize the struggle between humans and mother nature.
