Feeling a bit camera shy

Born in Rochester, N.Y. and currently residing in Atlanta, Spiryt was influenced by her older brother, and started rapping at the age of ten. A pure lyricist from the start she used her creative abilities not only to showcase microphone genius but also to write inspirational poetry and compositions. Her first literary achievement came in the forth grade winning the Principle’s Award, awarded for excellence in writing composition.

Mastered beyond the pen Spiryt has the divine ability to entertain. Her favorite entertainers ranges from Doug E. Fresh to Michael Jackson. The progressive emcee states, “ I love music in all its forms from old to new school, thought to conception, rock to opera.” Well-rounded and versatile Spiryt will appeal to the young and young at heart.

Inspired by a variety of artist the most intriguing is King David. Spiryt explains “He did everything with his heart. He fought battles, wrote Psalms, danced, sang, prayed, and praised God.” Her passion clearly goes beyond the music field and into the consciousness of life. “I would like to be remembered for the things I’ve accomplished musically, but more so for helping people along this journey.”

Surprisingly Spiryts’ most prize possession isn’t her rhyme book but rather an intangible quality: honesty. “As long as your honest with yourself and stay true to the music, everything will take care of itself.” Spiryt is what real artistry is made of.

Stay tuned to the radio for Spiryt’s new single ‘Fresh’ which is hitting the clubs as well as the streets worldwide!
