Splenetic

Some would think we are cursed... in a matter of three years we have gone through more things than most veteran bands. Bad blood with ex-members, record contracts gone wrong, cancelled tours and injuries that almost threatened the existence of the band since its forming in September of 2003. As of August 2005, the band is finally where it wants to be. With the addition of a couple new members, each person brings something different with influences that range from heavy metal to 70's power rock. Since the beginning, Splenetic's main focus has been metal with their own tastes thrown in the mix. Their music has been described as a wall of sound with solid driving riffs, hard hitting drums that push the groove over the top and aggressive vocals with a no holds bar attitude. Splenetic thrives in their live shows. They've played all through the Midwest with bands such as Bleed The Sky (Nuclear Blast Records), My Ruin (Rovena Recordings), VAST (Elektra Records), Silent Civilian (Mediaskare). Future plans include to finish recording at Bassline Studios (Omaha, NE) and to play as many shows as possible. Splenetic has been to hell and back and only time will tell how much more damage they can inflict.
