Split Over Drapes is a recent import from Richmond, VA. Having recorded previous EPs with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, The Faint) and Mark Miley (Avail, Hot Water Music), the Split Over Drapes you see today is a reunited and revamped version. After picking up new NYC members after just one audition, the reformed band is the gold that remains after being put through the fire.
Following an amazing "Welcome Back" show at the Up! Party at The Delancey, the band was promptly booked on high profile shows at Pianos, Rothko and Mercury Lounge. With their own brand of lush, layered songs and a stage dynamic that is truly inspiring, Split Over Drapes are poised to make the jump onto the national stage in the near future.
