Splitsense Inks Licensing Deal With Bunim-Murray
Band's music to be featured on MTV's Real World, Road Rules & Extreme Challenge

( EMAILWIRE.COM, June 21, 2006 ) Little Neck, NY - New York band Splitsense has been rockin' NYC and the surrounding area for over two years. Now the band is about to step into national recognition with music from their recent CD release "Purify" featured on the popular MTV programs "Real World", "Road Rules" and the "Extreme/All-Star Challenge".


"We are excited to be a part of the MTV music family through Bunim-Murray and look forward to hearing our music in a television forum", remarks Jason Masurka, lead vocalist for Splitsense. "This is a great opportunity for exposure."

The Real World launched in June of 1992, has won numerous awards, and since its inception, has chronicled the lives of of seven young people living together in a house in various parts of the world. The latest season films in Key West, FL. "Road Rules" is a show containing competitions between cast member teams and "Extreme/All-Star Challenge" is a show mixing the "Real World" and "Road Rules" casts in competitions.

SPLITSENSE was formed in 2004. Childhood friends Jason, Alex and Pat had played together in several bands and decided to form a new band. They added guitar player Bryan and SPLITSENSE was born. Their vision was to create a new sound in Rock music. Heavy guitars, memorable hooks and intricate songwriting were the cornerstones of their new sound.

SPLITSENSE released their debut album SOMBER mid 2004. The album was written, produced and recorded by SPLITSENSE and received excellent reviews. SPLITSENSE took their hard-rocking style to New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island where their live performances took on an aura of their own. Constantly writing new material brought SPLITSENSE back to their studio in 2005 to record their sophomore album PURIFY.
