Discography

Our first released CD is our self-titled EP with the songs: Blinded, Away, Bleeding, Myself.

Bleeding is our first single and it's currently getting airplay in British Columbia and Alberta and starting to spread like wildfire!

Our video for Bleeding is set to be released to MTV and Much Music in September, and we are in the process of making the video for Myself.

Bio

THE MUSIC
splitTRACT has exploded onto the West Coast music scene with their hard groove rawk and melodic overtones. Their music may range from harmonious ballads to flat out ruthless romps, but the theme is always the same: no gimmicks just three guys rocking out. All the audience can do is set their heads to bang and get ready for a hell of a ride.

They have taken a wide range of musical influences - Tool, Smashing Pumpkins, Dave Matthews and Incubus- and created a sound that is uniquely their own. It's a groove that is thoroughly enjoyed by any audience.

THE STORY
splitTRACT's takeover of the Vancouver rock scene began in St Catharine's Ont. Founders Chris Witoski and Dave Fulton, with their natural talent and electric stage presence, developed a strong following in the Toronto area rock scene. Relocating to Vancouver in 2003, Chris and Dave joined forces with Vancouver bassist Earl "the Flying Squirrel" Wadden, whose creativity and varied music experience has brought them to a whole new level.

Recently, splitTRACT has been taking their explosive live show on tour, playing to capacity crowds of all backgrounds. Highlights include rocking a packed house of rabid fans at their CD release party, a crowd of 10000+ at the Vancouver Sun Run and upcoming they'll be opening for Default and the Trews at the Molson Indy party at the Plaza of Nations.

In February, splitTRACT was featured on an MTV special that focused on music and the NHL. With the support and connections of the band's backer, Brad Lukowich of the Tampa Bay Lightning, splitTRACT has played at team functions and will be playing at a Stanley Cup celebration party, opening for 3 Days Grace.

In May 2004, splitTRACT completed their 4-song EP at the world-renowned Armoury Studios in Vancouver. This self-titled release sees the union of splitTRACT's raw energy with the musical mastery of producer Darren Grahn, (Metallica, Nine Inch Nails). The album was also mixed by the legendary Randy Staub (Nickelback, Bon Jovi, U2), who worked for free because he "wanted to be a part of this project". Their first single Bleeding was chosen to be featured on the million plus selling video game series EA SPORTS: NHL 2005.
