Split Wigs is a new band, comprised of members from multiple Nashville bands, that fell into place through a mutual dislike of the creative fences maintained by social castes and genre labeling. Split Wigs is simply a group of people that wish to make art together and not worry about anything else.
Split Wigs is influenced by the energy of rock/punk groups, such as The Stooges, the infectious rhythm of classic rock'n'roll, like Bo Diddley, and the 80's post punk era.
