The best kept secret in music

"Nashville Panorama Magazine"

“The lyrics with their catchy hooks remain intense and keep Spout apart from the generic ramblings of novice rock...see this band while the ticket prices are still low.” - JonJon

"Amplifier Magazine - Bowling Green, KY"

"Spout is not just powerful, but they’re hooky as hell, both with their riffs and their melodic/lyrical sense." - Don Thomason

"Nashville Rage Magazine"

Best Local Band in Music City:
SPOUT - "Best Of" 2002 Reader's Poll

"CDBaby.com"

”We get about 75 new albums a DAY coming in here now, (about 30,000 total), and Spout’s is one of the best I've ever heard…..like tossing gasoline on a fire of powerful songwriting and musicianship. Highly combustible and equally addictive, their self-titled album has blasted its way to the top of our rock picks."
- Derek Sivers / Founder Of CDBABY

"NashvilleRock.Net"

“Spout are possibly the most established hard rock band in Nashville, having relocated here in 2000 to do nothing but generate a non-stop buzz. This album is full of well-constructed songs with definite hooks. Mature song writing is highlighted by clean, flawless performances. I think perhaps it sacrifices a little soul to achieve perfection, but this is a major label band waiting to happen.” - - Jerry Work

"Kings of A&R, www.kingsofar.com"

“Anthemic, modern rock with spirit & authenticity.” - Robert Thompson

Bio

spout - Function: verb
1 : to express ones opinions in a loud, indiscreet manner.

Spout purposely ignores the trends and clichés by skillfully penning real-life "attention-getting" lyrics over catchy hard rock riffs, creating their own distinct radio-ready sound. No random meaningless screams about "life is pain" behind overused riffs.

Spout puts on an amazingly high-energy show that usually leave the band either bleeding or bruised on stage. The band draws audience participation and is much more than 4 guys playing chords on a stage.

Spout has recently been named 2005's most requested local band on 102.9 The Buzz, and has opened up for Nickelback, Fuel, Filter, and more. Their songs can be heard on MTV's The Gauntlet and Road Rules Challenge, as well as CBS's NFL Today as well as other national TV broadcasts.
