Biography

Spree's music is characterised by influences of Nu Jazz and d’n’b with a taste of everything Soulful.

Spree’s debut release on the stellar Aspect Records and further releases have received plays and praise from the likes of DJ SS, LTJ Bukem and Ray Keith, featured on TV soundtracks and received extensive DJ support.

Spree live take on a more jazzy roll with a full live band with gritty vocals, old school piano breaks, tight drum programming, improv jazzid horns and turntablist hocus pocus.

Spree have performed extensively in Asia the US and Europe plus many a prestigious stage including the Jazz world stage at Glastonbury festival. Voted in the last three of the Best Live act category of the Knowledge Magazine Awards, up against London Elektricity and I Kamanchi.
