Spud's Official Rap career started in 2003 when he was in a church rap ministry called " 411" but it wasnt until 2009 that he decided to pursue music as a Career.  With very little guidance, no handouts, but a gift to create music Spud Cotton released 6 official mixtapes which can be found on Datpiff. " Paper Boy " hosted by WGCI DJ A-OH [ 2009 ], " Live n Let Die " [ 2010 ], " Spaces Between Us " [ 2011 ], " Pay Attention " hosted by DJ Audio Kush [ 2012 ], " Spud Flow "  hosted by Mix tape Mechanics DJ Citi [ 2013 ] & A Collaboration project with Chicago MC Ray iLLa called " Stand Up Guyz " [ 2014 ]. After packing dope shows back to back at venues in Chicago Northside such as Subterranean [ SubT ] Wicker Park & Tonic Room, Spud is ready to show the growth as an artist and show the world he has what it takes. Whether its giving you Feel Good Music or rocking a show, the ball is in good hands. 

Born & Raised in Chicago. Spud spent the early child hood days living in some rough areas such as K-Town, and Englewood, before relocating to the Wild 100's in 1994 [ as his Grandparents took custody of him and his siblings at the age of 8. ] Combining the many facets of life, which includes struggles, love, pain, spirituality, & the streets, Spud's music is nothing but head nodding motivation to uplift and inspire.
