"A Solemn Affair"

Bringing Metal to the Table
The temperment of this song hits you like a brick wall. It's mood crashing like trains, will mangle your mind.
I dig this tune as many aspects of this song catch your ears. But the production is exceptionally well done.
This band is definately a group of performing monsters. This track really captures the energy level that this band brought to the table.

A Well Rounded Tune
The first thing I listen for in most songs is the mix between guitars and drums. The guitars have a great tone and crunch to them while the drums have a menacing impact. That being said I enjoyed the production on this track. The singer uses a good amount of vocal variety. That is very important in music today! The chorus has a descent hook and the song ended before it could become mundane. The overall mood of the song left me feeling a great sense of personal loss and I believe that is the message conveyed through this track.

Points of improvement? Hmm? I can't really think of any! Good job guys. All in all this is a well rounded tune.

Screams, Growls and awesome clean Vocals and all that fits together in this brilliant produced song .... GREAT ! ! !

Your girlfriend is gone? Somebody died? Jump in the car and turn up the radio as loud as you can. This song is perfect for those situations.

"The Monotony of Murder"

The Origin of Heavy
This track has a very scary vibe. I could see it used in a horror movie of some sort. It sounds like the vocalist is actually talking to the person listening. This gives the song a haunting feeling.
The bridge that pumped through my speakers at about the two minute mark in the song was a nice change. This gave a chance for the band to show it's melodic side. Still scary none the less. Good job on matching the different parts within moods. I attribute this to the fine performance.
Listening to this tune from a production standpoint, I would have to say that it is very solid work. I like the effects on the guitar and the vocals. This created an original and heavy sound.

If Chimaira Smoked Lots of Weed
Then they would probably put together a melodic and groove paced instrumental arrangement like this one. The song kicks off with downtuned guitar riffing beneath spoken word vocals. These vocals turn on full scream mode that reminds me of Chimaira's Impossibility of Reason, only you can understand the lyrics a bit better here. The drums and guitar lock into a slow-mid tempo pace that stays pretty much constant. Towards the end the guitar riffs become circular and remind me of the Foo Fighters' remake of Down in the Park by Gary Numan. An interesting mix to be sure, and the production is actually quite decent.
