Squeek

SQUEEK began as the title of a four song demo for guitarist / singer Murray Pulver to feature his songwriting. A short time later, Chris Sutherland returned to Winnipeg to join with Pulver, and bassist Paul Yee in the award winning country group DOC WALKER.
They decided almost instantly to form a rock band that would be completely "in the moment"... letting all their influences show, with no premeditated musical styles.

Murray Pulver...
Murray is an accomplished musician / producer / writer who has performed with numerous international acts. He was named Musician of the Year at the 2003 Western Canadian Music Alliance conference, and nominated twice for Producer of the Year at the Prairie Music Awards, Murray has gone on to produce numerous acts including Harlequin, the Wyrd Sisters and the Juno-nominated recording 'Sin and Other Salvations. From 1996 - '99 Murray was a member of BMG recording artists Crash Test Dummies. Murray recorded on the band's A Worm's Life recording which has gone on to sell over a million copies worldwide. Following 1999's Dummies tour, Murray went on to tour with Brad Roberts for the release of Crash Test Dude Live. He has performed with many others including Alana Levindoski, Amanda Stott, and Gil Grand and Doc Walker.

Chris Sutherland...
Chris was a member of The Kim Mitchell band from 1999 - 2005 and the drummer for the Toronto production of the hit musical Mamma Mia. He has also performed and recorded with Sass Jordan, Randy Bachman, Jason McCoy, Michelle Wright, and Amanda Wilkinson. Chris moved back to Winnipeg in 2005 to join Doc Walker. He is currently producing several projects for other artists including the progressive rock group Khem Kharan and Joanna Crosse.

Paul Yee...
Paul is a multi instrumentalist and an award winning bass player(2005 ccma bass player of the year). Paul also plays drums, guitar and more. When hes not playing, he can usually be found in his studio(SublimeSonicRecords) recording other artists. He is a digidesign certified Protools operator and records all of SQUEEKs music. Paul has also performed and recorded with Doc Walker, Rudimental, Wyrd Sisters, Paris to Kyiv, Shawn Bergen, grammy winner Tom Bee, Scott Nolan, Guy Abraham, Genevieve Toupin, Nicky Mehta and has several other recording projects including YeeRoy/Landreth, and his own solo efforts.
