Still working on that hot first release.

Squirm and Germ is a high-energy music comedy duo from NYC created by Tim Girrbach and Rodney Umble. These 2 MC's use their hip-hop alter egos to celebrate/parody their irreverent passions in life through an original, uproarious and self-deprecating voice. With influences ranging from The Gorillaz to Slick Rick and Harry Nilsson: S&G produce infectious beats, 80's/90's inspired synth hooks, legit harmonies reminiscent of Rockapella, and rhyme faster than a kid who drank five Red Bulls at a sleepover. They are often compared to Flight of the Conchords, The Beastie Boys, The Lonely Island, and The Vienna Boys Choir with a feel-good house party vibe all their own.

S&G got their start training in improv at The Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Magnet Theater.
They have rocked the mic at numerous venues around NYC including The Apollo, Joe's Pub, Ars Nova, UCBeast, Tammany Hall, Under St. Mark's, The Peoples Improv Theater, The Creek and The Cave, and the 92Y Tribeca. Their rousing live performances have been compared to Electric Six and Digital Underground.

2012 INNY Award nominees for "Maine, MoFo" (Best Comedy Song and Video) and ECNY nominated for best sketch comedy troupe with Drop Six (Official selections of Sketchfest NYC, Sketchfest Seattle, D.C. Comedy Fest, and winners of the Best of the Fest Award at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival). They have shared the stage with Reggie Watts, Kristen Schaal, Colin Quinn, Arden Myrin, Bridey Elliott, Matt McCarthy, and The Apple Sisters.

Squirm and Germ released and produced their debut full-length album "Late Bloomers" in 2011. The record was engineered, mixed/mastered and co-produced by Sammy Bananas of Fool's Gold Records.

In 2012 they released their single/video "Pregnant in the Club" and won second place performing it live at the world famous Apollo Theater in Harlem on August 15th.

Their music videos have been featured on CollegeHumor.com, The UK's NME Online Music Magazine, and Humor Blogs: FunnyNotSlutty, Strollerderby, and The Apiary.
