Bio
Anthony Natoli and Alex Klein met in high school and wrote songs for piano and viola. Now they both go to college in the city and they've been performing as Sssen since 2008. They play their music through opened-up synthesizers and 80s effects boards, and they use midi controllers and real instruments.
They are working on their first album, SPOOK HOUSE, which is about nightlife and watching your breath leave your body. Their songs are unapologetic and they make people dance. Their sound is influenced by house music, live electronics, and classical composers. This past year they've been playing throughout New York at parties and warehouses like Refuge and the 1896, as well as clubs and rock venues. This fall they were showcased at the CMJ music festival.
