Bio
A trained pianist and vocalist, Stacey Dexter has been writing and recording her own music and honing her skills as a very connected, emotional, and energetic lead singer for many years. Dexters lyrics reflect her ability to emotionally relate to an audience and her strong sense of melody makes the songs catchy and memorable.
She has strong musical ties in the Boston area. In the past, Dexter successfully launched her original music onto college radio and the former WBNC in Boston.
Her most recent record Sometimes Love was co-written with producer/drummer Hirsh Gardner, formerly of the highly successful band New England, with a special appearance by
guitar virtuoso, Johnny A.
Sometimes Love triumphantly received an Honorable Mention in 2009 in the Billboard Songwriting contest, proving that Dexter is a viable contender in todays music market.
She now returns to the music industry with a catalogue of original lyrics that are believable, intelligent and relatable. Dexter frequently collaborates with others, adding her lyrics and vocal melodies to others instrumentation.
Dexter is actively searching for licensing opportunities in film, television and commercials.
She is also ready to pitch her material to other artists to help them to achieve the connection to their audience that they are looking for in a song.
