Bio
Stacey is a 26 year-old elementary-education graduate from Granite City, IL, just across the river from St. Louis, MO. She became a church soloist at the early age of 8, and in her early teens she participated in and won numerous local talent competitions as well as district wide vocal contests. In high school Stacey became an active member of the school concert choir and swing choir, performing at local community events. In addition, she was involved in many school theatrical performances and was an award-winning competitor of the speech team.
Continuing in her performing endeavors, Stacey attended Blackburn College located in Carlinville, IL where she studied voice and piano with locally famed opera singer, Catherine Layton-Brown. As a member of the Blackburn College Choir and the Madrigal Singers she performed both locally and nationally and was also a member of the Blackburn College Dance Team studying jazz and ballet. After finishing her degree, Stacey continued with her performing by joining a local cover band called Ultra Groove, and landing roles in community theatre plays such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; Neil Simons Proposals; and Beehive, a 60s music tribute.
Stacey was a weekend radio personality for WIBI radio station, and currently is a weekend DJ on KXEN, 1010AM. During this past fall Stacey teamed up with New Music Talent producer, Phil Minardi, and co-wrote and recorded her new CD titled Disarray, a Kelly Clarkson-ish style of Pop-Rock. So far the reviews coming in are very positive and we are all hoping Stacey has the success she deserves and has worked so hard for.
