Bio
Based in a cramped Chicago bedroom, STACIAN blends and experiments with sounds from an old Casio, analog synth, and other sources onto a 4-track and sings over them live. Lonely and beat-driven, the sound emulates a full band. Stacian has opened up for Excepter, Tyvek, Wet Hair, among others. Influences include John Maus, Malaria!, The Raincoats, This Heat, Guided by Voices, Neu!, Kraftwerk, but mostly the thriving underground no wave and industrial scene in Chicago.
