NEW YORK POST
-SPORT MURPHY
August 20, 2006 -- TONY Marinari is standing at the edge of the stage, thrusting his guitar as far out into the audience as he can. He's shredding, pealing out a metallic, lightning-fast solo that wouldn't be out of place in any Van Halen hit.
On Thursday night, with his band, he's rocking a sold-out crowd at B.B. King's in Times Square with Cheap Trick's "Surrender." Classic-rock legend Jon Anderson of Yes is singing back-ups with the band. And just a few minutes ago, Tony was trading licks with Allman Brothers Band guitarist Dickey Betts.

Bio
New Jersey based cover band, Stage3, is a result of a diverse mixture of six highly accomplished musicians. Each member of the band is not only a serious musician, but also extremely successful in their family and work lives as well. Performing together for the past eight years, the band has established itself as the ultimate classic rock cover band. Stage3 showcases its versatility by performing classics by acts such as Pat Benatar, Kansas and Doobie Brothers to the main stream music of Journey, Metallica and Van Halen to the more contemporary sounds of Lady GaGa, Big and Rich and Evanescence. Working closely together, the band incorporates each members suggestions for the bands ever growing repertoire, always careful to maintain a versatile and varied mix of old favorites and contemporary hits. A great cover band is true to the spirit of the original hit song while adding their own style and imprint as well.......that is what makes Stage3 different from the rest.
