Stage Four

What is the “stage 4”? It is for worshiping Him, and that is what this band has been about since the beginning. Stage 4 is made up of Caleb Evans 19 (vocals, rhythm guitar) Ben Stout 19 (synthesizer and vocals), David Stout 16 (Lead guitar), and Nathan Porter 21 (drums and vocals). The boys started playing together five years ago in a start up band called Firewall. Since that time the band has developed into a group of five who are listening for God’s direction in song writing and performing. Stage 4 leads weekly youth worship, plays out at a variety of events, helped a local church start up a youth band, and took first place and a scholarship with superior ratings at the Indiana Wesleyan Campus Challenge. Stage 4 was asked to play and participate at LoveMercy, A Youth conference in Louisville, Kentucky. Youth from all over the country came together to celebrate what Christ has done in their lives while others committed their lives for the first time to Jesus. These young men take deliberate steps in praying and listening for the Holy Spirit’s lead. Stage 4 has produced and written many Christ and Christian life based songs. One of their songs is an up beat tune called “Neverland,” with catchy hooks written by David Stout and Nathan Porter. The song is a poetic view of Heaven and their journey. A second song written by Stage 4, the band slowed things down with a new original called “Forever and Always.” Stage 4 also plays Christian cover songs and worship songs, along with other originals, many about friendship, joy and leaning upon God. The band is having a great time experiencing the adventures and special moments God has for them.
