Bio
We are Stairwell. We are based out of Greenville, NC. As all bands, we started out as cover band and have grown into what we fill is our true sound. Stairwell is comprised of: Joey Braxton on bass, Travis Baker on drums, Jamie Rawls on rhythm/lead, Mark Richardson on lead/rhythm, and Jeremy on Vocals. Pulling from all scopes of music: Alternative, Pop, Rock, 80's hair metal, we feel like that our originals are a true testament to who we are. Since forming in 2007, we have been striving to get our music heard by listeners out there. We are currently in the studio right now, and hope to have an album out by late summer. We have opened for several national acts such as Parmalee, Fixxer, Sponge, Stereoside, Agents of the Sun, and Future Leaders of the World. We have been given strong comparisons to everybody from Shinedown to Creed to Three Doors Down. We feel that our songs are very radio friendly, with meaningful lyrics, memorable hooks, and catchy choruses.
