Bio
Formed in Aug. 2009. Dan Catron (guitar) from "Hobbs End" and Jryan Anderson (Drums) from "Switchblade Cadillac" began writing songs in JRyan's attic in Nashville, TN. After two completed songs Jud Peterson(Guitar) "Werewolf Killers" joined in Sept. the trio wrote 2 more songs. In Nov. Ben Johnson (Bass) "Cease Upon The Capitol" joined and the band was complete. The name Stallion was chosen in early 2010 and Jud was designated the singer. More songs were written until Feb when the band booked its first show at the venue Foobar, Located in East Nashville. From that point several shows were played all over the Nashville area during 2010. In this time the band recorded a 4 song demo in Jryan's attic.
The individual style of each member is what makes Stallion a must see. The songs revolve around the subject of sex. Dirty sex. This is not a band for your 12 year old kid.
In August of 2010 Stallion began recoding a 10 song LP. The record was recorded at Bomb Shelter Studio in Nashville by Andrija Tokic. It is currently in the process of being mixed. The band plans to put the album out on vinyl within the next year. ( funding needed)
Stallion is rock and roll. The members influences range from "The Hellacopters" to "Nashville Pussy" to "The Jesus Lizard". "Kiss" and "Queens of the Stone Age"
