Formed in May 2010 in their hometown of Manchester, CT, Stamps the Goat spent their first summer honing their live show at performances in several venues across Connecticut. Lead guitarist Tyler Dickens, bassist Chris Hickey, rhythm guitar/keyboardist Rob Leshin, and drummer John Schauster also worked hard on their studio skills, self-producing recordings of some of their best material, including the catchy-as-hell "Resurrection", the keyboard-laden "Sincerity", and the jolly, non sequitur "Fossil Book".
The band members continued their relentless onslaught on the senses by culminating the summer with the release of their first music video. Shot to promote "Resurrection", it was directed and edited by Leshin.
Stamps the Goat hopes to soon bring their sound to venues across the northeastern United States, and beyond.
