Lyrics

Stick It

Written By: Standby

Verse 1:
Back at the house it’s late but light
I walk through the door I fade the night
There’s a man in the room I can’t see his face
He sits alone just filling the space
I trip up the stairs, leaves me wanting more
All I get is my face to the floor
I need to get out of this place
I need the man to get off my case

Chorus:
I’m riding along the road of soul
There’s nothing left but rock and roll
I hate getting stuck so I might as well stick it
Stick to the man that should fix it
Riding a long going fast
All my troubles left in the past
I getting to stuck to the plan
I might as well stick it to the man

Verse 2:
They attacked last night I was scared and lost
I grabbed my axe and let the notes fly
The rock would kill them and I knew they would die
In a flash they left us blind
They beamed away to their own man kind
Rock is the bullet
And we are the gun
We’ll fire away to the war is won

Chorus:
I’m riding along the road of soul
There’s nothing left but rock and roll
I hate getting stuck so I might as well stick it
Stick to the man that should fix it
Riding a long going fast
All my troubles left in the past
I getting to stuck to the plan
I might as well stick it to the man

The Odds

Written By: Standby

Verse 1:
Take it back a step and shake yourself,
You’ve been through worse still time will tell
I’m in your boat I wear your shoes
What more must I prove to you
I’ve been around and back again
The ends of time have seen the last men
Ive had the blocks, and ive felt the pain
I shoot to thrill but I never aim
Chorus:
I battled the man, and I beat the odds
I’m takin my time to join the cause
Smiles and miles, under hero’s feet
The game is over, and the odds got beat.
Verse 2:
In a box I was born like a game
My life’s been a journey but it’s all the same
In my mind I’ve seen it all
The stories climb and the hero’s fall
The scars tell a story darker than night
About the lies and the final fight
One more year and then I’m gone
I’ll end my story with once upon
Chorus:
I battled the man, and I beat the odds
I’m takin my time to join the cause
Smiles and miles, under hero’s feet
The game is over, and the odds got beat.
Bridge:
The Odds
The Odds
The Odds
Beat The Odds
Chorus:
I battled the man, and I beat the odds
I’m takin my time to join the cause
Smiles and miles, under hero’s feet
The game is over, and the odds got beat.

Blast Machine

Written By: Standby

Verse 1:
Flick goes the switch boom boom explode the cab
Let it wash away the bloody rags
Shattered air that makes hard to breathe
Snap on the whip and crack on the creed
Like a clap of lightening that breaks me down
Instead of running I wait around
It’s a time when I knew the bombs are gone
We all got to quit but we all got to move on

Chorus:
Slam on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Crank on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Slam on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Crank on the blast machine, watch it blow us away

Verse 2:
Boom boom here that its back again
Another bomb to bring me to the final end
Peaceful war, ha whatcha thought
No peace in this war I guess we’ve been caught
Slap on the stick just to hear the bam
Like the broken cries of a beaten man
Bombs are so cool but so am I
It’s one for the killing to make em die

Chorus:
Slam on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Crank on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Slam on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Crank on the blast machine, watch it blow us away

Breakdown:
Blow shit up and watch it burn down
Blow shit up and watch it burn down
Blow shit up and watch it burn down
Blow shit up and watch it burn down

Chorus
Slam on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Crank on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Slam on the blast machine, watch it blow us away
Crank on the blast machine, watch it blow us away

Jump

Written By: Standby

Verse 1:
Feel the rope as it slips away
It’s been enough todays the day
Was it really all that bad?
Think of the life you could of had
You were loved and you’re missed
You kicked the bucket and forgot the list
Lost dreams as they sail away
Into the mystic now, hear us play

Chorus:
Don’t Jump, hold the trigger
There’s something better, there’s something bigger
In the end, it will be alright
X2

Verse 2:
Empty bottles lying around
And there you are lying on the ground
It’s like a body, that’s out of view
We stare around as we watch you
Pop a pill to kill the pain
Even though the pain, it still remains
Just remember to see the light
In your new home, the eternal night

Chorus:
Don’t Jump, hold the trigger
There’s something better, there’s something bigger
In the end, it will be alright
X2

Bridge:
Alright

Chorus:
Don’t Jump, hold the trigger
There’s something better, there’s something bigger
In the end, it will be alright
X2

Beam Me Up

Written By: Standby

Verse 1:
They came to earth, they were looking for peace
And What they found, it did not please
It sounded strange, to their ears
It startled their masses and brought them fear

Pre Chorus:
Beam Me Up, Beam Me Up
Beam Me Up, Beam Me Up

Chorus:
Beam Me Up, Beam Me Up
Beam Me Up, Beam Me Up

Verse 2:
They begged for mercy, to live and survive
The song kept playing, It was howling through the sky
Start your engines, let’s get the hell out of here
One more saying, till we disappear

Pre Chorus:
Beam Me Up, Beam Me Up
Beam Me Up, Beam Me Up

Chorus:
Beam Me Up, Beam Me Up
Beam Me Up, Beam Me Up

Count Me Out

Written By: Standby

Verse:
I was always taught with education,
To hate my neighbor and serve no nation,
With eyes gone cold they watch the culture,
Stalkin the prey, a hungry vulture,
They fire the flags and march in lines,
Tearing down trees and planting mines,
They make your calls and take your name,
But in the end youre the one they blame,

Pre Chorus:
Ive been gone so long,
Singing the same old song,
And I cant get back,
No I wont go back,
So count me out,

Chorus:
no I've been locked up below,
And I said,
Oh oh Ive lost my lonely soul,
Now hit me,
Low low and knock me to the floor,
You better keep me down or Ill come back up for more,

Verse:
Sitting alone in this institution,
Looking for a way, a new solution,
One that will bring end to my sorrow,
And deliver the world a brand new tomorrow,
Chaos is change with a darker nature,
It controls life like the creator,
The reality of fate will take its own toll,
The decisions we make will not change our role,

Pre Chorus:
Ive been gone so long,
Singing the same old song,
And I cant get back,
No I wont go back,
So count me out,

Chorus:
no I've been locked up below,
And I said,
Oh oh I've lost my lonely soul,
Now hit me,
Low low and knock me to the floor,
You better keep me down or Ill come back up for more,
