Standing For Something

The Souza brothers began playing music in the winter of 2008, drawing inspiration from a pair of shows on The Killers Sams Town tour.
The brothers recruited Tyler Roe to hammer the skins, having known him since high school. The band played together as a quartet for seven months, before deciding that something had to change musically. Enter Logan Cruce. Cruce was recruited by Roe after playing together in various jam bands in past years. He quickly and drastically altered the sound of the band and re-energized the effort. As cliche as is might sound, SFS literally SOUNDS LIKE NO OTHER BAND. SFS sounds like a blend of several different bands from several different genres. The band draws inspiration from classic rock bands like Pink Floyd, The Who, Rush, The Allman Brothers, ect. As well as modern bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Umphreys McGee, The Raconteurs, ect.
All SFS needs to break through the underground scene in an opportunity to impress. The band relishes every moment on stage and guarantees to leave the crowd with an experience they won't forget.
