Here's an EP I've been meaning to post for sometime now. As you know we try to give you electro, hip hop, mashups, indie, party music and everything we can find! Here is some good indie music for your Sunday if you're having some nice weather and just want to kick back and relax this is PERFECT. Great vocals and songs, every song on this EP is excellent. Stand in Motion is an underground indie-pop group with an EP available on Bandcamp well worth checking out. Stand in Motion is an all-too-simple concept: made up of two young guys from Maple Valley, WA, they are putting out unpretentious, straightforward music.
Made up of DJ/Producer Alex Silvi and Singer/songwriter Mark Hooten, Stand in Motion’s music makes the listener do anything but. Their first release, and EP titled Reflections, is easy to sing along with and even easier to relate to. Throughout the EP, the songs are produced with lots of synth and Hootan’s vocals are clear and easy to follow. The songs are a real pleasure to listen to; this EP is perfect pop music with an indie-electronic twist.

On August 2nd, 2011 we released our first single "Reflections" along with a music video for it that can be seen on youtube. In a matter of two weeks we had already hit over 500 views.
On August 5th, 2011 we released an E.P. titled, "Reflections E.P.". The entire album is still up and available for free download. Alex and myself were absolutely shocked and humbled by the fact that we had hit 1,000 song plays in 24 hours. Piece by piece we have been putting together an empire that we hope will continue to grow.
As of now we are finishing up a full length Record and are looking forward to the release in May. As of now, we are booking shows like crazy throughout the entire summer of 2012!!!!

Mark Hooton: Every song that I write I like to think of as being universal. Each and every song definitely has a deep meaning to me, but my goal is to have every person that listens to it have that same exact feeling. Even if their thought of mind is different from the one i had when writing it. One of my biggest influences the past year and half has been Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. I had the opportunity to talk with the both of them and they represent so much more then just music and sounds. They represent an empire that is being built on top of a foundation of honesty and compassion. Our music is a reflection of the way we see the world.
As of now, we aren't too worried about making money. If the music is good, money will soon follow. Our dream is to be successful with Music and continue doing what we have always loved to do.
