STANLEY

Stanley is the Vehicle for its four members to deliver a forward thinking interpretation of the sound and spirit of rock and roll. Stanley Generate a sound that is aware of its modern radio rock context, while manipulating the potential of the traditional guitar/bass/drums arrangement-willing it to bend, attempting to stand apart from their mainstream counterparts. In late 2004, Paul Tynan and Scott were inspired to join forces and create original music together. There collaboration resulted in a set of 7 songs that the trio exclusively performed and recorded under the moniker Stanley. The three then enlisted Blaine on the Bass, relieving Paul and Scott of their multi-instrumental duties, and affording their recorded material the opportunity to be presented live. Reflecting the completion of the four-piece puzzle, the group independently released the 7 songs as a full-length demo entitled, "Sea Legs", in 2005 produced by Stanley and Marcus Kihn www.alles.com. Since then, the band has been actively performing shows at Toronto venues. With widespread appeal, and despite drawing flattering comparisons with U2 Verve, Gomez and elbow from their peers, Stanley continues to forge its own unique path in the realm of modern rock
