Scars

Written By: Brian K. Williams/Alan Taylor/David Halcomb of Starless

Scars
Whatever happened to the child in you
Did the same that happens to us all
Take its’ toll on you
The scars on your hands
Reveal a glimpse of who you are
They show that your life
Has always been hard
Bridge
Times like these make you feel so alone
The hurt you feel is all to real
Don’t let despair bring you down

Pain and suffering are all that you’ve seen
It’s all you’ve ever known
Everywhere you turn everywhere you’ve been
You’ve always heard its different on
The other side
Now you know that was all
Just a lie
Bridge
Times like these make you feel so alone
The pain you feel is all to real
Don’t let despair bring you down
Solo
You never know what you’re going to do
Until everyone decides to let you choose
Your life, and how you want to live
And who you want to be
Changes occur in these desolate times
Carries you forth into the light
It only takes a spark
To ignite the flame
That shines as a beacon and
Shows you the way
