"To Keep & To Be Kept"

Wastrels and Star Magnet opened the show. Both bands are from the Twin Cities and both bands have a lot of potential.

The first band to play was Star Magnet, another trio from right here in the Twin Cities. These guys had a much more country feel to them but still stayed true to the weird post-punk/ psychedelic sound of the night. They didn’t have any song names, rather just “code names”. Star Magnet currently only have a three song demo (available on Bandcamp) that they were handing out for free last night. I only wish the singer was a bit easier to find so I could have gotten one. Guess I’ll have to go see them again… I’m not complaining about that at all. - Girl At the Rock Shows

Still working on that hot first release.
