Stars & Garters don’t view country music as an artifact to be preserved in a museum. Firmly planted in the classic country tradition of Buck, Merle and Hank, they also have a healthy respect for the Ramones and the Clash. While the bulk of their set is made up of original songs about the big three (love, liquor and murder) you are just as likely to hear a Rancid or Dead Milkmen tune as an old Waylon and Willie chestnut. With a live show chock full of rhinestones and three-part harmonies they continue to raise the bar for live music in Sacramento and Beyond.
