Hailing from West Palm Beach (Fla.), upstart rap group Startn LineUp is all about being the top contenders in the hip-hop industry. With an undeniable work ethic, Startn LineUp has been striving to hone its musical crafts through the concepts of hard work, determination and sacrifice. Startn LineUp consists of three members: rapper/engineer/mixer Mr. Valentine (Monte Freeze), rapper/songwriter Milli (Mark Fredricks) and K9 (Kaalum Williams).
As a group, Startn LineUp defines the essence of what it takes to fulfill a dream in the field of music. Recently performing at a host of open mic venues throughout Florida, the “studio mice”, according to Milli, pride itself on believing that anyone with a dream and willing to sacrifice time with benefit from the “laws of attraction.” Thus far, it has paid off with a recent freestyle performance for Diplomats rapper Juelz Santana at a Miami Beach hotspot.

Startn LineUp’s mission in its music is to captivate audiences through wordplay that touches on the everyday lives of youth. With songs such as “Pocket Watchin’,” “What I Feel” and “Metal Heart Mix” generating thousands of views on YouTube, Startn LineUp has been able to log in some work with the likes of fellow local artists Jay Smoove, Blaze Hunter, Makkin, Jemini, and Rob Croft. Chris Grant, Michael Jackson’s first pick for his “This Is It” tour, has become a mentor to Startn LineUp, introducing them to Andrea Clair Fisher.

With Startn LineUp’s distinguishable hunger and drive to make its mark in the hip-hop game, their stars are set to rise in a way that the industry will not soon forget.
