Biography

Clawing our way from the dust of a...oh wait, it's not that dramatic but hey...We are a diverse band, with originals and covers in styles ranging from the likes of Bon Jovi to Newsboys, from Casting Crowns to Creed...we have an album due out this OCT 31st! We have played everywhere from ongoing gigs at a PADs shelter for the homeless, to a variety of Chicago area venues, and are looking to branch out. StArwAy is a Rock/Christian Rock Band, that is family friendly and trying to reach out to the people. We have been on a roller coaster of a ride, as God lead us on this musical journey, gaining experience along the way. StArwAy began over 3 years ago, founded by wEs LeE 'K', who began writing new songs for this project and here we are to serve God and bring the music to the people! Let's rock! And hey, we do some nice ballads and a good 'unplugged' set too!

Discography

We have tracks on internet radio, such as Lead Me to the Rock Radio and the Redneck Disciple Show, to name a couple sources. And we have an indie album due for release OCTOBER 31st, 2009! And we have our debut music video on You Tube and many other sites (to see it, just google: starway tg)

Set List

We can play 3 or 4 hours if needed - alot of songs and a big variety and we can fine tune it to meet your needs! We have approximately 60 covers and 20 originals to choose from. We rock, of course, but we can also do songs from real olden days, if needed for a special crowd, which really sets us apart! A typical commercial rocking set of our covers would include some Bon Jovi (Who Says You Can't go Home, and Wanted Dead or Alive), Jimmy Eat World's song "The Middle", Creed's "Higher", and Christian Rock songs by Newsboys ("He Reigns"), Rebecca St James ("Song of Love") and our StArwAy hit, our unique version of "Jesus Loves Me".
