My newer music has a Jack Johnson meets Maroon 5 jig to it, only that I am a girl singing it and its content is quite a bit focused from this girl's point of view. Originality is my main goal. A few songs have faith content, and my heart and desire is to share my experiences, thoughts and views with others on faith as well as everyday troubles. There is always a hook, always something about the chorus or part of the song that catches on to the listeners mind and has them singing it for hours. Of the already recorded materials, the sound is a little more rock, some more pop, one is even slightly jazz sounding, in as much as these songs were recorded as I was coming to terms with who I am as a musician.
Currently I have no permanent complete band, however I will stay on the search for dedicated performers who love just simply playing but with a target, a goal. I've grown up in a very supportive home, my father making my dream his own to help create and therefore his support has made a large part of the journey easy travel. Only now the hard part is has been laid out in front of me, for me to complete. My biggest challenge: Going from a talented young musician in her own little bubble to getting the world's attention and showing them what she's got to give.
