Bio
Bluesy rock band founded in a small studio outside of San Antonio, Texas in 2016 by drummer/songwriter Troy Blevins. Carrying over the music of his last band 7Handshake, which disbanded in 2016, and created an ep with guitarist Justin Hart Conger playing drums at the time and Troy playing bass royal blood style. After playing shows locally for a while Troy and Justin decided to make a full record that sounded like a band. In August of 2018 White Woolly Mammoth was born. Troy played drums, guitar and bass on the record. And Justin played the layering guitar and produced the record alongside Tommy Munter at Matador Studios. Not long after the start of the record, Marisol Luna was brought in for final vocals and laid them down in 2 days. Out of the ashes of the record a four piece band was formed with Troy on drums, Justin on lead guitar, Marisol Luna on vocals and Matt “Arnie” Arnst was brought in to play bass. Strange beginnings for a band that is going to last.
